Got my first dui yesterday. I had just got back from a night out and just thought “im gonna drive home and sleep”. I got in the car, and after 2 minutes of driving i accidently hit another car. It was nothing serious just barely touched it, nothing to see on both cars but then police arrived. I went to a hospital and now im just waiting for the police to call. Im so scared and embarassed, and dont know how to tell my family. But like… what’s done is done cant really do anything about it now, and dont wanna live in fear and be ashamed. Just wanna get it over with and move on.

I used to drive drunk consistently for about 6 months a while back, morning to night. I also did several days long road trips while drunk. I had a real problem at that point. Im not proud of it, i know that what i did was awful. And you know what, you have the right to say whatever you want about me, im not proud of it at all. I never had an accident, and i did get pulled over once while i was probably a bit over the legal limit but i luckily acted sober enough and just got the warning for going 5 over. The fact that nothing came of this other than the physical effects of my addiction is honestly a miracle. I got so many second chances here, and i just cant go back to those days, i know how lucky i am right now.

Just got a dui on st Paddy's day 2024. Pulled over for weaving, no one was hurt no wrecks but its still a scary process. Paid 5gs. When it all happened i was so scared, and had to fight through my depression. Thankfully i have my school work and my job to keep me distracted. But yeah got court and a dmv hearing this week. Im hoping for the best possible outcome. I can relate to others who felt alone in it all. I remember when i tried to ask my in laws for help. My husband and I were a bit upset cause they helo everyone else but the minute i needed help it was like nope. I think ill be okay i have my husband supporting me. An Indian here. It's pronounced as “Sheela-jeet”. It's usually found in Himalayan mountains and has been used traditionally in India to treat impotence or sexual problems. It works wonders if it's totally pure. But it's “hot” in nature. So, should strictly be consumed in winter only. Otherwise, it's going to create a lot of problems if you use it summer or hot weather. I recently came to conclusion that I wanted to cut down again, so at first I was nervous because my last cut went horribly wrong. I was 5ft 11 204 so I was carrying some extra weight. I decided for a month to not have booze, limit my bread, pop/candy intake on the week days. The weekends I would cheat a bit. In about a month I dropped to 196...and I feel a hell of a lot better. And yes the women in my life noticed that I got leaner. I got more choosing signals right away and it gave me the confidence to just go talk to them in a more masculine tone. I want to see what happens if I get around 188 to 192 to see how low I can go until diminishing returns. My strength is also pretty good. I will have to do some research on that supplement to see if I can increase my mood.

I had scheduled to have my 19 year old dog put to sleep the next day. I've had him his entire life, since I was 12 years old. Obviously a very rough time for me. I was drinking and rushing home to get back to him because he's disabled and can no longer get up on his own (can still walk but walks in circles and falls down a lot). I was speeding because I wanted to get home to him and wasn't thinking. All I was thinking was about him. Got pulled over for speeding. Got a dui. They told me since I had a dui almost 10 years back they had to book me. Found out 6 hours in that its a mandatory 24 hour hold if you have two duis within 10 year mark I just barely missed the cutoff point and it was a controlled dui I never drove my car. My poor dogs were left alone in my apt with no one to take care of them for over 12 hours. Thankfully my cousin went to pick up my keys and went to my apt to pick up my dogs and take care of them. My dog was covered in his own poop and pee. I felt absolutely horrible. Horrible doesn't even cover it. He was having diarrhea from the stress and wouldn't stop barking/crying in pain from the dried poop being stuck to his butt and being sore. My cousin did the best she could but she didn't wash him. Just tried using baby wipes which didn't do the job. He needed a bath. He needed his meds which she couldn't find. His last 48 hours of life were in pain, confused, scared and stressed. He wouldn't eat for her. He only drank a little bit of water. I was in jail for a full 48 hours (they dragged court out and didn't get out until almost 5pm, I was supposed to have court that morning but in jail they don't care about your time and everything drags out and takes forever). It was almost 5pm and the vet closed at 6. We had to rush him straight to the vet to be put to sleep and I only had that car ride to hold him and 15 minutes to say goodbye once we were there. I'll never forgive myself for his last days/hours of life. The only sentiment I can find is he's finally at rest and out of pain.

First, I want to thank God that I'am still alive. I rear ended a car. No one got injured only me. I fracture my pinky when the air back went off. I was not taken to the hospital immediately. Cops arrived at the seen they did the DUI field sobriety test. Arrested me took me to their station read my rights. So I did the BAC test or my linces will be suspended for 1year so I didn't want that. In result, I'm getting my license back In 5 months. First time and last dui offender. So they took me to the hospital sat me on a chair with hand cuffs while I was in pain. An officer was recording me the whole time. 10 hrs after the accident they took me to jaiI. I was realise next day 4am do to my injury. I felt really bad mentaly and physicly. They give you 4 free phonecalls. Moments like this only Mother & a good Wife arethere 😢. Afterwards, I try talking to people relatives, friends, and they gave me the cold shoulder like if I need it money or a ride to the hospital. People would call me acting worry just to gossip w/ others. Then I'll call them no answer. I've been depressed like my life is over type a s. I've been on Google, utube to see what's going to happen. I got a 4.5k lawyer😢 expensive..but they will follow threw with DMVs fines etc. which public defenders won't do. My court day was on jun 5th at a criminal court so I went to find out they had reschedule me to June 24th at another court. Apparently my paper said it was a Felony, but that was because the report mention injuries. They found out it was me w injury so it became misdemeanor. I feel much better having a lawyer knowing that isn't a felony. I wonder what's going to happen next. I need my restricted license just received the DMV papers for a 4 month suspension. I need to go to my insurance. They will probably nickel and dime me more. It sucks.

As for someone that is currently 26, I am taking a huge step back from the gym. I now am just working out for that good feeling and overall health. I am good doing barbell lifts around the 7 to 8 rep range and aiming for 40 grams of protein a meal. My dream of benching 315 ain't going to happen with my current life. I will just have to settle around 250 to 260. The good news for me is that strength is better than like 95% of the male population.

I turn 43 next week and I can verify the metabolism does slow down. Consistent cardio like hiking and backpacking definitely help keep it moving in my experience.
